Meg Wilkinson's background is in conservation and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Her career has spanned several states and organizations including the Powder River Basin Resource Council in Wyoming, the Long Island Sound Taskforce in Connecticut, the Lancaster Planning Commission in Pennsylvania, and Research Triangle Institute in North Carolina. Meg also worked in one New England state in the late 1980s, serving as the Information Manager for the Massachusetts Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program.
Meg's involvement with invasive species issues began in 2005 as the Program Coordinator for the New York State Invasive Species Council and then continued into her current role with the New York Natural Heritage Program and the iMapInvasives Project.
Outside of work, Meg enjoys spending her time doing tai chi, yoga, biking, and skiing.
