Miguel Fernandez

NatureServe Director, Latin America and the Caribbean Programs

 

Miguel Fernandez serves on the Executive Committee of iMapInvasives as the liaison between the Latin American and the Caribbean Programs at NatureServe and the iMapInvasives initiative.

Miguel has a multidisciplinary background that includes experience in macroecology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, climate change, and bioinformatics. He has focused his career on the application of these tools to understand how global change will affect biodiversity matters around the world.
