Below are all of the files that you need to download and unzip, in order to run WIMS 3.

To install WIMS 3 for the Access desktop interface, download the "WIMS 3.0c" files (compatable with Access 2000, 2002 & 2003), the Baseline data .xls file and the State/County files for populating your pull-down menus. Another zip file containing the WIMS 3 ArcPad interface files is included with Access database file. Unzip this file as well for using WIMS with ArcPad on a handheld unit.

WIMS 3.0c (8-27-09 Release) .zip format -- The most recent upgrade to WIMS (there may be no more changes to the Access database). Download the zip file into your folder for WIMS. Unzip it and also the ArcPad interface zip file that is in this zip file. From Windows Explorer, right-click, select Winzip, Extract to here. Unzipping the second zip file will extract files and folders into a folder named "ArcPad_WIMS."

Dell Axim Patches: Previous problems with the Dell Axim X51/X51v and CF GPS cards appear to have been solved with a ROM update. If you have one of these handheld units, be sure to do this ROM update. The ROM updates are available here:
